Tamil Nadu Deputy CM O Panneerselvam's brother O Raja sacked from AIADMK for anti-party activities
Meanwhile, AIADMK MPs this morning staged a protest in front of the Gandhi statue inside the Parliament premises against the construction of dam on Cauvery river.
Chennai: Tamil Nadu Deputy CM O. Panneerselvam's brother O.Raja on Wednesday was removed from primary membership of AIADMK. Raja was fired this afternoon for bringing "disrepute" to the party and for also indulging in anti-party activities.
Reports say the party leadership has asked its workers and members to disassociate themselves from Raja. More details are awaited on the development.
