Swati Maliwal Face Of 'BJP Conspiracy' To Frame Delhi CM Kejriwal, AAP Claims. Rajya Sabha MP Alleges 'U-Turn'

Swati Maliwal 'Assault' Case: The AAP alleges BJP conspiracy to frame Delhi CM Kejriwal in Swati Maliwal's assault case, accusing Maliwal of leveling baseless allegations.

Swati Maliwal 'Assault' Case: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of orchestrating a conspiracy to frame Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the assault case involving Swati Maliwal. Delhi Minister and AAP leader Atishi claimed that Maliwal arrived at the Chief Minister's residence without an appointment with the intention of levelling false allegations against Kejriwal.

"Ever since Arvind Kejriwal has got bail, the BJP is rattled. Due to this, the BJP hatched a conspiracy, under which Swati Maliwal was sent to Arvind Kejriwal's house on the morning of 13th May. Swati Maliwal was the face and pawn of this conspiracy. They intended to accuse the CM but the CM was not there at that time so he was saved. After that, Swati Maliwal accused Bibhav Kumar. In her complaint to the police, she said she was assaulted," Atishi stated.

Atishi referred to a video that has surfaced, showing Swati Maliwal inside the Chief Minister's residence. "The video which has come out today shows her sitting comfortably in the drawing room (of the CM house) and threatening the police officials. She was also seen threatening Bibhav Kumar in the video. Neither her clothes were torn nor any injury on her head can be seen in the video," she added.

The video, which has gone viral, reportedly shows Maliwal threatening Kumar and police officials. "This video proves that Maliwal’s claims are without basis and not true," Atishi asserted.

In response to the incident, CM Arvind Kejriwal's aide Bibhav Kumar has filed a complaint against Maliwal with the police, according to Atishi.

“(Kejriwal's PA) Bhibhav Kumar has filed a case against Swati Maliwal with the Delhi Police today. On May 13, Maliwal had reached CM Arvind Kejriwal's residence early in the morning, without a prior appointment. She threatened police officials at the entrance and entered the campus of CM residence. Security took her to the waiting room, requesting her multiple times to leave as she did not have an appointment with Kejriwal. What was the reason that she forcefully entered the residence early morning without taking a prior appointment? Later, the staff called Bhibhav Kumar. He informed her that the CM was not available that day and could not meet her. Maliwal started arguing loudly with him and tried to move from the drawing room to the inner parts of the house. Bhibhav did not let her enter the house and called the security staff to escort Maliwal outside,” she added.

Swati Maliwal 'Assault' Case: AAP Rajya Sabha MP Accuses Party Of Taking 'U-Turn', Claims Bibhav 'Threatening To Reveal Secrets'

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal accused her party of taking 'U-turn' in this matter while claiming that Bibhav Kumar is 'threatening to reveal secrets'.

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal posted on X, " The leaders who joined the party yesterday declared a 20-year-old worker as a BJP agent. Two days ago the party had accepted the truth in the PC and today it has taken a U-turn. This goon is threatening the party, if I get arrested I will reveal all the secrets. That is why he is roaming around in Lucknow and everywhere seeking shelter."

"Today, under his pressure, the party gave in and to save a goon, my character was questioned by the entire party. No problem, I have been fighting alone for the women of the entire country, I will fight for myself too. Do character assassination as much as possible, the truth will come out when the time comes," she added.

This is in reference to MP Sanjay Singh's remarks where he said that Bibhav Singh behaved badly with Maliwal and CM Kejriwal has assured strict action in this case. Regarding this, Atishi said today, "When Sanjay Singh ji saw the news that Swati Maliwal had gone to the Police Station, he met her. Till then he only had Swati's version in front of him. Now he also has Bibhav ji's side of the story and the video that has come out today proves that all the things said in the FIR are lies."

In another post, she alleged a bid to "tamper" with CCTV footage as she wrote, "I have received information that now these people are tampering with the CCTV of the house"
