Snapchat not for 'poor countries like India', says its CEO Evan Spiegal; Here's how Twitterati reacted

New Delhi: The chief executive officer (CEO) of Snap Inc., the parent company of social media platform Snapchat, has found himself in an eye of a storm after reportedly saying Snapchat was not for 'poor countries like India'. According to a report by Variety, Evan Spiegal (26) allegedly made the unverified comment, in 2015, during a meeting to discuss the growth of the app’s user base all around the world. Spiegel’s comments have not been taken well by Twitterati who have slammed CEO on the micro-blogging site for underestimating the country.
