In another incident, 25 people lost their lives in a bus accident in Maharashtra's Buldhana district on Saturday. The poor quality of the highway was being blamed for the accident, however, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis refuted such claims. While addressing the media, Fadnavis said it was premature to call into question the construction quality of the Samruddhi Mahamarg Expressway, where the incident occurred. The deputy CM emphasised that passing judgement on the expressway's construction at this stage would be inappropriate.
