Pulwama attack: Petrified Pakistan Army Chief Bajwa visits LoC; issues 'hollow threats' to India

The tensions have escalated between the two countries after the Pulwama attack and Pakistan has been preparing itself for any attack from India. Amid tensions, this is the first ever visit by Bajwa after the terror attack.

New Delhi: As Pakistan is prepping to protect itself from any action by India after being petrified by PM Narendra Modi and Indian Army’s threat after Pulwama terror attack by Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists, which claimed the lives of 40 Indian soldiers; their Army Chief on Friday visited the Line of Control and reviewed the state of preparedness at the border. General Qamar Bajwa also issued hollow threats to India, while he lauded the high moral of the Pakistani troops. The tensions have escalated between the two countries after the Pulwama attack and Pakistan has been preparing itself for any attack from India. Amid tensions, this is the first ever visit by Bajwa after the terror attack. He also urged the Pakistani soldiers to hit back if firing resumes. Pakistan has also been asking its people to vacate the houses close to the Line of Control and has been asking them to move to underground bunkers. Pakistan which has been denying its role in the attacks had sought a proof of their involvement in the same.; to which India responded “it will not submit any evidence to Pakistan on the role of Jaish-e-Mohammad in the Pulwama terror strike, and instead give all such facts to friendly nations to unmask the role of elements based in the neighbouring country in the attack” a senior government official said. The official was sharing the views within the government, which is not at all in favour of giving any evidence to Pakistan considering the past experience when despite giving multiple dossiers on the involvement of Pakistan-based elements in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and terror strike in Pathankot airbase, Islamabad did nothing to punish the perpetrators. "There is no question of giving any evidence to Pakistan. Rather we will share them with friendly countries to expose the role of Pakistan-based elements in Pulwama and other terror attacks on Indian soil," the official said.
