Post-Covid 'Revenge Travel': Twitter Reacts To Manali's Over-Crowded Streets
After images of the heavily crowded streets in Manali popped up on social media, Twitteratis expressed their concern and created some hilarious memes.
Manali: As soon as the second wave ended and the Himachal Pradesh administration announced last month about the easing of Covid-19 restrictions following which, tourists started to head to higher altitudes, especially to popular tourist destinations such as Shimla, Kullu-Manali.
There is even a term for people leaving their houses for hill-stations or beaches after being forced to coop up inside their home and it's 'revenge travel'. After images of the heavily crowded streets in Manali popped up on social media Twitteratis took matters into their own hands to express their concerns but mostly to create funny memes.
