On retirement day, Akola collector drives the chauffer to office as farewell gift

New Delhi: What can be a beautiful surprise than this? You see, that chauffeur sitting on the backseat while his boss is driving the car for him. At first, the car looks like it is decorated for a wedding but here is a different story. It is all decked up for the man who drove it daily as his duty. Meet Digambar Thak, 58, from Akola Maharasthra who has driven 18 collectors of his district. This photo was tweeted by the official twitter handle of Maharasthra Information Centre along with a caption, ''Akola Collector G Sreekanth gave Great farewell to his driver Digambar Thak on his retirement day by driving himself.Thak was seated on back.'' Take a look: On last day of his work and ahead of a farewell ceremony, his boss Akola's collector G Sreekanth gave him the best parting gift. The boss’s way to say thank you to Digambar for his 35 years long service has made a day to remember. Well! To a driver it surely is an unusual and a life time memory when Sreekanth himself drove for Digambar.
