MP To Begin Doorstep Ration Delivery In 89 Blocks From Nov 1

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that doorstep ration will be implemented in 89 blocks in the state from November 1.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made a huge announcement for the state. He announced that on November 1, on the occasion of the foundation day of Madhya Pradesh, the govt will begin doorstep ration delivery in 89 tribal blocks. Chief Minister Shivraj made this announcement on Saturday. Calling it a gift to the tribal community, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that now people won't have to leave their work and go to the shops to bring rations.

Participated in 'Gaurav Divas' event

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had come to Jabalpur to attend a function that was organized to honour the tribal leaders who participated in the freedom struggle,  Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was accompanied by the country's Home Minister Amit Shah at the Gaurav Divas celebrations. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that it is only the BJP government that is working for the tribal community. When Atalji became the Prime Minister of India, for the first time, a Ministry for the Tribal Community was formed.

Targeted the Congress

During the address, Chief Minister Shivraj hit out at the Congress saying that during the Congress government, students belonging to tribal communities were given scholarships of only Rs 200-300. The scholarship amount was increased by the BJP government and increased to Rs 1200-1300. The country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a resolve to give back its lost identity to the tribal community. We will make this golden dream of the Prime Minister come true.

High rates exploit people belonging to tribal communities

The chief minister said high-interest rates exploit the people of the tribal community. Therefore, effective laws have also been enacted to fix interest rates for moneylenders in tribal areas. Those taking interest more than the fixed rate will not be spared and will be punished.
