Health Alert For Netas: Bhuna Chana, Khajoor To Replace Biscuits In Official Meetings

The circular also said that the previously issued order by Administration Division on ban on use of plastic bottles is also to be implemented immediately.

New Delhi: In a very health oriented order by Ministry of Health headed by Dr Harshvardhan, the sale of biscuits in the Departmental Canteens of the ministry is set to be stopped and the same is going to be replaced with healthy snacks like bhuna chana, khajoor, badam (almonds) and akhrot (walnuts). The same was made official via a circular, which was issued by the ministry to the Manager of departmental canteen, department of health and family welfare. The circular also said that the previously issued order by Administration Division on ban on use of plastic bottles is also to be implemented immediately. Health Alert For Netas: Bhuna Chana, Khajoor To Replace Biscuits In Official Meetings The ban on sale of biscuits, which contains high number of calories, is ministry’s step toward promoting healthy lifestyle amongst the ministers; as food items like bhuna chana and badam are of high notorious value and contain only good calories.
