As per sources, a team of forest officials and shooting experts tried to nab the tigress late last night, but she tried to attack in retaliation; because of which the officials took the call of gunning her down, so that she doesn’t kill any more people. The authorities had last month ordered to gun her down, looking at the terror she had created, post which groups related to animal welfare had protested against the same. Around 10 months ago, the tigress began killing people 10 months ago in Ralegao in Yavatmal. Several attempts were made by forest official teams but they didn’t get success.
