Bokaro Superintendent of Police Priyadarshi Alok said that the incident occurred at Khetko village under the Petarwar Police Station limits, around 80 km from the state capital Ranchi.

At least four people were killed and 10 others suffered burn injuries when the Tazia they were carrying during the Moharram procession came in contact with a high-tension electric wire in Khetko village of Peterwar Block in Jharkhand's Bokaro district today, as reported by the news agency ANI.

Bokaro Superintendent of Police Priyadarshi Alok said that the incident occurred at Khetko village under the Petarwar Police Station limits, around 80 km from the state capital Ranchi, when their religious flag, made of iron, came in contact with a live wire.
