J-K Police Attach Properties of 5 Proclaimed Offenders Linked to Illegal Arms Training In Pak

The Jammu and Kashmir Police attached properties of five proclaimed offenders who have reportedly been exfiltrated to Pakistan for training in illegal arms

The Ganderbal Police in Central Kashmir announced on Tuesday that it has attached properties of five proclaimed offenders who have reportedly been exfiltrated to Pakistan for training in illegal arms. The action was taken in compliance with the order of the Court of Additional Mobile Magistrate Ganderbal under Section 82 of the CrPC (Criminal Procedure Code), following a government directive.

In a statement, a police spokesman informed that the offenders are currently at large across the border in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) or Pakistan. The attached properties are linked to a case registered under FIR No. 120/2009 at the Ganderbal Police Station under sections 2/3 of the Egress and Internal Movement (Control) Ordinance (E&IMCO).

According to the statement, the attached properties include land measuring one kanal 19 marlas in Estate Chountwaliwar belonging to Mohammad Yousuf alias Yousuf Naseem, resident of Chountwaliwar; land measuring one kanal 17 marlas in Chountwaliwar and 10 marlas in Watlar belonging to Bashir Ahmad, resident of Chountwaliwar/Watlar; land measuring 11 marlas in Estate Chountwaliwar belonging to Mohammad Rafiq, resident of Chountwaliwar; land measuring two kanals 15 marlas in Estate Chountwaliwar belonging to Mohammad Sakhi, resident of Chountwaliwar; and a piece of land in Estate Qasba Lar belonging to Hilal Ahmad, resident of Qasba Lar.

Further details of the attached properties are as follows:

Mohd Yousuf Alias Yousuf Naseem: Land measuring 1 Kanals 19 Marlas under Khasra No. 41, 42, 47, 49 in Estate Choutwaliwar belonging to Mohd Yousuf Alias Yousuf Naseem S/o Mohd Yaqboob Syed Shah R/o Chountwaliwar.

Bashir Ahmad: Land measuring 1 Kanals 17 marlas under khasra No. 883/637/288 in Countwaliwar. 10 Marlas under Khasra No. 429 in Watlar belonging to proclaimed offender namely Bashir Ah. S/o Ab Karim Wani R/o Choutwaliwar/Watlar.

Mohammad Rafiq: Land measuring 11 marlas under khasra No 130, 128, 129, 314 in estate Chountwaliwar belonging to Mohd Rafiq S/o Lal Din Chichi R/o Chountwaliwar.

Mohammad Sakhi: Land measuring 2 Kanals 15 marlas under Khasra No. 710/3, 706/2, 707/2 in estate Chountwaliwar belonging to Mohd Sakhi S/o Mohd Younis Shah Qureshi R/o Chountwaliwar.

Hilal Ahmad: Land Measuring 121/4 marlas under Khewat No. 201 in estate Qasba Lar belonging to Hilal Ahmad S/o Habibullah Wani R/o Qasba Lar.

This recent action adds to the tally, with a total of 27.13 kanals of land belonging to nine proclaimed offenders and a residential house already attached in the case.
