Jammu & Kashmir: 708 Fresh Covid-19 Cases Take Tally Past 30,000; Total Death Toll At 572
In Jammu division, Jammu district has 2,074 cases, Rajouri 794, Ramban 631, Kathua 681, Udhampur 664, Samba 599, Doda 350, Poonch 333, Reasi 336 and Kishtwar 186.
Srinagar: 43 travelers were among 708 Covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, taking the overall count past 30,000 in Jammu & Kashir with total death toll reaching 572 as 11 more patients died during past 24 hours. Among the cases which took the overall count to 30,034, 102 are from Jammu division and 606 from Kashmir Valley.
Giving district-wise breakup of the cases, official release said that Srinagar reported 229 cases, Baramulla 35, Pulwama 24, Budgam 88, Anantnag 48, Kulgam 19, Shopian 10, Kupwara 43, Bandipora 48, Ganderbal 62, Jammu 41, Rajouri 4, Kathua 4, Udhampur 2, Ramban 2, Samba 10, Doda 3, Poonch 1, Reasi 34 and Kishtwar 1.
In Kashmir, Srinagar tops the list with 7,253 cases followed by Baramulla with 2,510, Pulwama 2,146, Budgam 1,922,Kulgam 1,747, Shopian 1,589, Anantnag 1,905, Kupwara 1,680, Bandipora 1,583 and Ganderbal 1,051.

The number of active cases now total 6,965, including 1,491 in Jammu division and 5,474 in Kashmir division.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir administration has so far evacuated over three lakh residents of the union territory stranded in other parts of the country due to the coronavirus-induced lockdown, according to official data.
A total of 119 special trains arrived at Jammu and Udhampur railway stations from different parts of India with about 1,01,244 passengers, while about 2,27,976 people from other states and UTs, including 906 from abroad, have been evacuated by the government via road till date, the data showed.

As many as 1,059 passengers reached Jammu from Delhi on Wednesday in the 98th special train.
A total of 85,548 stranded passengers belonging to different districts have reached Jammu in these 98 special trains, while 15,696 passengers have reached Udhampur in 21 special trains.
