Is Rest Of The Country Pakistan Or Bangladesh? Uddhav Attacks BJP Over Free Vaccine Poll Promise In Bihar
Earlier in the day, Union Minister RS Prasad while speaking to ABP News defended the party’s poll promise of vaccine and said that the other state governments can also decide on a similar scheme when the rates of vaccine are set.
New Delhi: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday questioned the Bharatiya Janata Party over their poll promise of free covid-19 vaccine for people in Bihar. He asked whether the rest of the country is considered Pakistan or Bangladesh by the party, that vaccines will be given free of the cost only in Bihar.

“You are talking about giving free vaccines in Bihar. Is rest of the country Pakistan or Bangladesh? Those speaking like that should be ashamed of themselves. You are at the centre,” Uddhav Thackeray said.
Earlier in the day, Union Minister RS Prasad while speaking to ABP News defended the party’s poll promise of vaccine and said that the other state governments can also decide on a similar scheme when the rates of vaccine are set.
Speaking with ABP News in its flagship summit Shikhar Sammelan ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections, Prasad said that healthcare getting mentioned in election manifesto is a revolutionary step and free vaccine promise shows the party’s commitment towards people’s health.
While addressing Shiv Sena’s annual Dussehra rally in Mumbai, he also challenged the saffron party to ‘topple the Maharashtra government, if it had the courage’.
“It has been a year now. From the day I became the CM, it was being said that the state government will be toppled. I challenge and say that if you have the courage, do it and show,” he said.
“We are being asked about Hindutva, that why are we not re-opening temples in the state. They say my Hindutva is different from that of Balasaheb Thackeray. Your Hindutva is about clanging bells and utensils, our Hindutva is not like that,” he said.
