'India mourns the loss of a great friend': PM Modi condoles death of Cuba's Fidel Castro
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday condoled the death of Cuban revolutionary leader and former President Fidel Castro, who died on Saturday at the age of 90, saying: "India mourns the loss of a great friend."
"I extend my deepest condolences to the government and the people of Cuba on the sad demise of Fidel Castro. May his soul rest in peace," Modi said in a tweet.
