Indo-China Tensions | 5 Indian Boys Abducted By Chinese Army From Arunachal Pradesh's Nacho: Congress MLA

Indo-China Conflict: As per Congress MLA Ninong Ering “China's PLA (People's Liberation Army) has abducted 5 boys from Nacho, Upper Subansiri in Arunachal Pradesh.”

India-China border tensions: Amid the ongoing border dispute between India and China, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army has abducted 5 Indian boys from Arunachal Pradesh, further aggravating the situation along the Line of Actual Control. Also Read | Ladakh Standoff: Chinese Defence Minister Tells Rajnath Singh, "India Responsible For Border Row" As per Congress MLA Ninong Ering “China's PLA (People's Liberation Army) has abducted 5 boys from Nacho, Upper Subansiri in Arunachal Pradesh.” He said “this has happened at a time when Rajanath Singh is meeting defence ministers of Russia & China. PLA's action has sent a very wrong message.” The claims have not been confirmed by Army officials yet. They are in contact with local units for gathering information and will subsequently release the information. As per posts on social media, the names of the five abducted boys are:
  • Tanu Bakar
  • Prasat Ringling
  • Ngaru Diri
  • Dongtu Ebiya
  • Toch Singkam
An official confirmation in this regard is awaited. It is pertinent to note that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who is in Moscow, met with his Chinese counterpart Wei Fenghe on Friday night in the first face to face contact at the political level in an attempt to break the deadlock on disengagement and de-escalation. However, the talks between the two leaders did not seem fruitful again, as China tried to blame India for the ongoing border tensions in Ladakh. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was told by his Chinese counterpart Wei Fenghe during their meeting in Moscow that "responsibility (recent events in Ladakh) lies entirely with India", China's Ministry of Defence has claimed.
