'Spirit Of National Unity': PM Modi Urges Participation In 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Campaign From Aug 13 To 15

PM Modi underlined the emotional connection every Indian shares with the Tricolour, stating that it serves as an inspiration for collective efforts towards national progress.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon citizens to engage in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' movement from August 13 to 15, promoting the display of the national flag as a symbol of freedom and national unity. In a message shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, PM Modi underlined the emotional connection every Indian shares with the Tricolour, stating that it serves as an inspiration for collective efforts towards national progress.

"Every Indian has an emotional connect with the Tricolour and it inspires us to work harder to further national progress. I urge you all to take part in the #HarGharTiranga movement between 13th to 15th August. Upload your photos with the Tiranga here... harghartiranga.com," PM Modi tweeted. 

The launch of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign saw Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar flagging off a bike rally of MPs in Delhi. The rally commenced from Pragati Maidan, traversed through the India Gate circle, and culminated at the Major Dhyan Chand stadium.

Haryana's 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Campaign Set To Distribute 5 Lakh National Flags: 

Haryana's Department of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs is preparing to launch the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, which will distribute five lakh national flags across the state from August 13 to 15. According to an official statement, the goal of this initiative is to instill patriotism in citizens and to celebrate the collective journey of building the nation.

The campaign, which was a huge success last year, is set to reignite the spirit of patriotism and enthusiasm surrounding Independence Day celebrations. The national flag will be available for purchase at ration depots in both rural and urban areas for Rs 25 per piece, encouraging residents to proudly display the Tricolour at their homes.

"The objective of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign is to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and remind them of the journey of the people of the country, who have made their valuable contribution in the building of this great nation," the statement said.

The statement emphasised that the Tricolour represents India's glory, and the campaign aims to mobilise citizen efforts to promote patriotism.
