Khattar also delivered prayers at the Nalheshwar Mahadev temple in Nalhar village, where a Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) procession had been assaulted.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar visited with individuals impacted by the July 31 communal violence here on Saturday, saying Nuh's history exhibits a sense of togetherness while emphasising every community's freedom to perform religious events, news agency PTI reported. He stated unequivocally that individuals who participated in the violence would not be spared, regardless of religion or caste. Khattar also delivered prayers at the Nalheshwar Mahadev temple in Nalhar village, where a Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) procession had been assaulted.

Six persons were slain in the community violence, the majority of them were killed during the attack. In neighbouring Gurugram, a Muslim priest was assassinated.

"Every citizen condemns such incidents and these events should never have occurred," the chief minister said.

"Nevertheless, it is the responsibility of the district administration and the government to restore law and order promptly. Thanks to the collective efforts of everyone, the situation has returned to normal," he told reporters.

He met with the family of Shakti Singh, 35, a Bhadas village resident who died in the Nuh violence, and expressed his condolences. Khattar pledged the government's assistance to Singh's family.

Khattar enumerated numerous projects being conducted to promote the Mewat area while presiding over a peace committee meeting at the Nuh district secretariat.

The 108-acre Kotla Lake in the Mewat area will be developed. He also stated that a dedicated pipeline will be built beside the KMP to bring Yamuna water to the Nuh area.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to raising Nuh district to the same level as other districts, with a focus on education, health, industry, agriculture and law and order," said Khattar.

The chief minister stated that during their meetings, Prime Minister Modi frequently inquires about the developments in Mewat and has asked for united efforts to achieve the development goals.

According to him, the Haryana government's initiatives include creating large-scale companies in the region to give job possibilities for the young.

The CM asked the residents of Nuh district to guarantee that their children receive standard education.

According to Khattar, the history of Nuh district demonstrates a sense of fraternity, emphasising the right of every community to perform religious programmes and the need to prevent any disturbance of this peace.
