“The election commissioner must resign immediately, or the government must dismiss him. Otherwise, people will dismiss the KCR government. A person who does not respect the verdict of the people has no moral right to continue as the Chief Minister,” his tweet quoted.
In a series of tweets, Kumar alleged the K Chandrasekhar Rao led Telugu Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government in the state, of rigging the elections.
“At some polling stations, the turnout was as high as 90%, with suspicions of gambling. What is KCR's answer to this? Elections have never been held so badly anywhere,” he said, in a tweet.
“Looking at the issuance of the circular that the accountant was ticked with a pen, it seems that hunger, misery, and anxiety have been knocked out of power. The conspiracies of the TRS government are evidence that the people are on the side of the BJP which carried out the elections,” his tweet quoted.
The BJP Telangana chief alleged that the Election Commission, which announces the polling percent every hour, did not announce the vote per cent from 5 PM to 6 PM, in which it increased from 12 per cent to 18 per cent. He further, demanded a high-level probe into the matter from the high court.
“The EC, which announced the polling percentage per hour, did not immediately announce the polling percentage from 5 to 6 p.m. How did it increase from 12% to 18% during that time? The High Court should hold an inquiry into this,” he said in his tweet.
The 150-seat municipal corporation, went to the polls on Tuesday, after witnessing massive rallies and campaigns in the state.
