Gautam Adani Hosts Belgium, Denmark, EU, Germany Envoys On Tour At Khavda, Mundra Projects In Gujarat

Adani hosted Belgian Ambassador Didier Vanderhasselt, Danish Ambassador Freddy Svane, European Union's Ambassador to India Herve Delphin, and German Ambassador to India Dr Philipp Ackermann. 

Gautam Adani hosted ambassadors from Belgium, Denmark, European Union, and Germany at the group's Khavda and Mundra projects in Gujarat.

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani on Tuesday hosted the ambassadors from Belgium, Denmark, European Union, and Germany on a tour at the world's largest renewable energy park run by Adani Green Energy in Gujarat's Khavda. They also visited India's largest commercial port in Mundra operated by Adani Ports and SEZ Limited. 

Gautam Adani hosted Belgian Ambassador Didier Vanderhasselt, Danish Ambassador Freddy Svane, European Union's Ambassador to India Herve Delphin, and German Ambassador to India and Bhutan Dr Philipp Ackermann. 

Adani stated that the discussions with the envoys were aimed at strengthening global partnerships which would help drive India's energy transition and accelerate the hydrogen ecosystem. 

After the meeting, he also shared pictures with the envoys in a post on X and wrote: "It was a privilege to host the ambassadors from the EU, Belgium, Denmark and Germany at our office. I deeply appreciate their visit to the world's largest renewable energy park in Khavda, Gujarat, and India's largest port, logistics and industrial hub in Mundra."

"At Adani, we continue to drive forward with our ambitious renewable energy initiatives while ensuring a balanced energy mix that supports a sustainable future for all of India," he added.

Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) along with its ecosystem of vendors is working towards developing the world's largest renewable energy project, spanning 538 sq km on Khavda's barren land.

AGEL recently operationalised on the first 250 MW wind capacity at the Khavda plant, and is on its way to achieve its 2030 RE capacity target of 50 GW, including at least 5 GW of energy storage.
