Bharat Bandh Tomorrow
On Monday, farmers will complete 10 months of the ongoing protest against new agricultural laws enacted by Centre last year. On this occasion, farmers have called Bharat Bandh on Monday, September 27. It has been called by the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha.
The Haryana unit of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh will organise the rally and has invited several leaders of the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha to the rally. BKU state president Maan said that the rally is being organised by BKU. Farmers of Panipat have invited Rakesh Tikait to honour him for running the Kisan Movement.
This will be the first such rally in the state after three days of protests by farmer leaders over lathicharge on farmers in Karnal on August 28. Protesters claimed that at least 10 farmers were injured and one killed due to police action during that rally.
