'Era Of 1990 Has Come Again': Delhi CM Kejriwal Slams BJP, Makes 4 Demands Amid Killings Of Kashmiri Pandits

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday slammed the Bhartiya Janta Party for the targeted killings of Kashmiri Pandits in the valley. "BJP govt has failed in this. The era of 1990 has come again. They (Govt) don't have any plans," he said at the AAP protest rally against the Centre in Jantar Mantar, news agency ANI reported.
"Whenever there is a murder in the valley, news comes that the Home Minister has called a high-level meeting, enough of these meetings, now we need action, Kashmir wants action," he added.

Kejriwal also made four demands to the Centre in response to the targeted killings in the Valley: an action plan to prevent such incidents, the cancellation of bonds signed with Kashmiri Pandits that state they cannot work outside Kashmir, the fulfilment of Kashmiri Pandits' demands, and the provision of security.
Kejriwal also asked Pakistan to cease using childish methods. "Kashmir will always remain a part of India," Kejriwal stated.
Terror organisations, particularly Lashkar-e-Taiba, have carried out eight targeted assassinations in the Kashmir Valley, killing non-Muslims, security officers, an artist, and local residents, PTI reported.
Since the assassination of Rahul Bhat by terrorists on May 12 in the Chadoora region of Budgam district in central Kashmir, scores of Kashmiri Pandits who were engaged under a prime minister's package in 2012 have staged protests threatening mass flight.
“This period will be counted as the worst phase in the history of Kashmir. The BJP has completely failed to stop targeted killings and there is an atmosphere of panic and terror in Kashmir," Sisodia tweeted earlier.
On June 2, two people were slain in Kashmir: a bank employee and a brick kiln labourer, while another was injured in two separate instances.
Terrorists killed a lady teacher from Jammu's Samba district on May 31 at a school in south Kashmir's Kulgam district. Terrorists invaded a wine shop in Baramulla, North Kashmir, on May 18 and tossed a grenade, killing one Jammu resident and injured three others.
On May 24, police officer Saifullah Qadri was shot dead outside his home in Srinagar, while TV artist Amreen Bhat was killed two days later in Budgam.
Various political parties have lambasted the BJP over the Kashmir crisis and demanded explanations from the Union Territory administration about the recent increase in targeted murders.
