Delhi weather: It's raining on Valentine's day! National capital likely to experience hailstorm today

Delhi weather: People in the national capital and its surrounding areas such as Noida, Gurugram and Faridabad witnessed gusty winds and thunderstorm owing to an intense Western Disturbance over Northern India.

Delhi weather: Delhi witnessed a change in weather on Thursday morning and received rainfall today. The weather department on Wednesday had also predicted hailstorms for the day. People in the national capital and its surrounding areas such as Noida, Gurugram and Faridabad witnessed gusty winds and thunderstorm owing to an intense Western Disturbance over Northern India. Skymer, a private weather forecasting agency was quoted by ANI as saying, "Light scattered rains are expected to continue over the national capital region till February 15. By February 16, the weather systems will move towards east India giving rain in Uttar Pradesh." "As a consequence of the rainfall activity, maximums in Delhi and its adjoining areas will drop by 2 Degree Celsius to 4 Degree Celsius, while the maximums will again start increasing February 16 onwards," it added. In terms of weather, the maximum and minimum temperatures were 19 Degrees Celsius and 14 Degree Celsius. Today, the weather over the Delhi-National Capital Region became pleasant.
