"The post-mortem reports of the 11 family members say that they died due to ante-mortem hanging. The reports support the suicide theory. We will study the reports," Alok Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) said.
The police also received a pseudonymous letter claiming that the Chundawat family was in touch with self-styled godman "bidi wale baba" of Karala.
He was questioned but there were no links found between him and the Chundawat family, the police said. The police did not find anything to indicate that the family was in touch with any godman or tantric.
