Over 10 Rounds Of Firing In Delhi's Subhash Nagar, 2 Injured. Police Reach Spot

Police and the top officials are currently deployed at the spot.

New Delhi: More than 10 rounds of firing were reported in the Subhash Nagar area of West Delhi, leaving two injured, on Saturday.

According to a report by news agency ANI, police and the top officials are currently deployed at the spot.

Two days back on Wednesday, a sub-inspector's husband sustained bullet injuries while another person was injured after two people opened fire in Bhajanpura area in northeast Delhi.

According to reports, the sub-inspector's husband was not the target, but a passerby was.

DCP (Northeast) Sanjay Sain, as quoted by The Times Of India, said, "A probe revealed that two people opened fire upon another duo. In the incident, Vishal and the SI's husband Gaurav, received bullet injuries and were taken to a hospital. Gaurav was discharged, while Vishal was still under observation."

As per investigating officers, a person identified as Manish Dedha had emerged as the prime suspect in the firing incident. Police said Manish had personal enmity with Vishal over a love affair. The police further said that Vishal was involved in a murder case while Manish was earlier involved in two other cases.
