Amitabh Bachchan Health HIGHLIGHTS: Four members of the Bachchan family have tested positive for Coronavirus, sending shockwaves across the film industry and among fans. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are already undergoing treatment in Nanavati hospital in Mumbai. On Sunday afternoon, it was confirmed that even Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have tested positive. The Public Relation Officer of the hospital issued a statement and said Amitabh Bachchan is stable with mild symptoms and is currently admitted in the isolation unit of the hospital. He has taken a good sleep last night and is currently stable. Another report by the hospital on Amitabh Bachchan's health has been released which said both the father and son are doing better than yesterday. Bachchan is currently admitted in the isolation unit of Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, in Mumbai.

The news of Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan testing positive for Coronavirus, came as a major jolt to the Bollywood with many of the celebrities pouring in wishes for the father-son duo’s speedy recovery .
The hospital will release another statement on Bachchan’s health condition by 12pm on Sunday.
Senior Bachchan’s age and medical history are a cause of concern, as he contracts the virus.
Dr. Ansari from Nanavati Hospital is handling the case of Amitabh Bachchan and it is being said that his condition is stable. The legendary actor is responding positively to the treatment.
Aishwarya, Jaya and Aaradhya undergo swab test:
The Covid-19 antigen test reports of Jaya Bachchan, her daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and grand-daughter Aaradhya are negative, while swab test results are awaited. The swab-test reports are likely to be declared by 12pm today.
Amitabh, Abhishek informed about Covid-19 infection on Twitter
On Saturday evening, Big B had tweeted confirming he had tested Covid positive. "T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!" @SrBachchan had tweeted.
Soon after Bachchan's tweet, his son Abhishek Bachchan had tweeted to confirm that he too had tested Covid positive.
"Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for Covid-19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you," Abhishek, 44, had tweeted on his verified account, @juniorbachchan.
