Delhi Borders Closed: Check Routes That Are Open, Blocked In View Of Farmers’ Protest
As per an advisory by the traffic police, traffic has been diverted from Mukarba and GTK road. Commuters are advised to avoid Outer Ring Road , GTK road, NH-44.
Delhi Traffic Update: As the farmers’ protest over the contentious agrarian laws of the Centre continues for the 14th straight day with maximum action at Delhi-Haryana’s Singhu border among other borers of the national capital, the Delhi traffic police issued an advisory for the commuters on Wednesday.

The national capital’s borders with UP and Haryana have emerged as the axis of the farmers’ protest, which is why, the police are on high alert at these points.
As per an advisory by the traffic police, traffic has been diverted from Mukarba and GTK road. Commuters are advised to avoid Outer Ring Road , GTK road, NH-44.
Delhi borders including Singhu, Auchandi, Piao Maniyari and Mangesh borders are closed.
“NH-44 is closed on both sides. Take alternate routes via Lampur, Safiabad, Saboli, NH8/Bhopra /Apsara borders /Peripheral expressway,” said Delhi Traffic Police.
The Delhi traffic police has been regularly posting updates about routes ever since the eruption of protests.

A late-night meeting called by Home Minister Amit Shah ended in failure Tuesday as farmer leaders rejected the government's offer to amend new farm laws, saying they would settle for nothing less than the scrapping of the legislations, while many of them threatened to boycott Wednesday's scheduled talks with ministers.
Shah's efforts, a day before the scheduled sixth round of talks between the government and farmer unions, were aimed at ending the protests on Delhi's various borders by thousands of farmers and their family members that have been going on for 12 days.
