Noted Astrologer Bejan Daruwalla Passes Away At 89; Had Predicted End Of Covid-19 By Mid-May

The 89-year-old breathed his last on Friday in Ahmedabad where is was admitted to a private hospital in Gujarat's Ahmedabad.

New Delhi: World-famous astrologer Bejan Daruwalla, who was on ventilator support, passed away on Friday at a private hospital in Ahemadabad.  The 89-year-old breathed his last on Friday evening in Apolo Hospital in Ahmedabad where is was admitted few days ago. Daruwalla was admitted to the hospital after complaints of breathing congestion. Ever since Daruwalla was found to be ill and news of his critical health condition came to light, wishes and prayers for his speedy recovery has flooded social media platforms. Some speculations also suggest that Daruwalla was found to be Coronavirus positive and succumbed to the contagion. The veteran astrologer was said to be on ventilator support from past few days. Bejan Daruwalla was born 11 July 1931. He was a popular Indian astrology columnist. In 2015, Daruwalla revealed that PM Narendra Modi had shown him his palm, and the reading showed that the leader possessed great strength and personality. In a video circulating on social media, the astrologer had predicted that the deadly Coronavirus pandemic will come to an end by middle of May, 2020. (Watch the video below) The revered astrologer has been Bollywood's go-to astrologer for years. In 2018, he suffered from a brain stroke. He had been admitted to a Mumbai hospital but gradually recovered before passing away on May 29, 2020. Daruwalla also worked as a professor of English in Ahmedabad. Despite being a Parsi, Daruwalla was an ardent follower of Hindu Lord Ganesha. Bejan Daruwalla's astrological techniques is a combination of Indian and Western Astrology, I-Ching, Tarot reading, the Kabalah and Palmistry.
