Ashok Gehlot Accuses BJP Of Toppling Rajasthan Govt, Says "Horsetrading Rate Hiked From Rs 25L"

CM Ashok Gehlot has claimed that Governor was being pressurized by BJP to delay the session so that the saffron party could have more time for horsetrading.

Amid the ongoing political crisis between Rajasthan Chief Minister, Former Deputy CM, Governor, Speaker and several MLAs, Ashok Gehlot has claimed that the rates of horsetrading in the state have increased after since the date for assembly session was announced. ALSO READ | Rajasthan HC Issues Notice To Speaker, Six BSP MLAs To Reply By August 11 Over Merger With Congress Taking to his official Twitter account, Chief Minister Gehlot claimed that the entire drama of delaying the assembly session was brewed up just to allow BJP some more to indulge in horsetrading and toppling the Congress-led Rajasthan government. "Until the Assembly Session dates were't announced, the first installment was 10, the second installment was 15,, but now MLAs are being asked how much they want? This means that the horsetrading rate has increased from Rs 25 lakh. Everyone knows who is monitoring," CM Tweeted. His statement has a day after Governor Kalraj Mishra on Wednesday agreed to hold a state assembly session on August 14. CM reportedly made several attempts to convince the Governor for holding the session but his proposals were rejected each time with Kalraj Mishra asking him to give "strong reason" for calling the session. On this, CM Ashok Gehlot has claimed that Governor was being pressurized by BJP to delay the session so that the saffron party could have more time for horsetrading. Some leaders of our party are also involved in this on BJP's behalf. In the following tweets, Gehlot warned BJP to drop its intention of topping the Rajasthan government and let the officials serve people in the rough phase of Coronavirus. "The Corona pandemic is terrible, people are losing their lives. despite this, people are more concerned in making the government fall. People are watching. BJP should drop its intention of topping the Rajasthan government. It will only weaken the democracy of the nation."
