Taking to his official Twitter account, Chief Minister Gehlot claimed that the entire drama of delaying the assembly session was brewed up just to allow BJP some more to indulge in horsetrading and toppling the Congress-led Rajasthan government.
"Until the Assembly Session dates were't announced, the first installment was 10, the second installment was 15,, but now MLAs are being asked how much they want? This means that the horsetrading rate has increased from Rs 25 lakh. Everyone knows who is monitoring," CM Tweeted.
His statement has a day after Governor Kalraj Mishra on Wednesday agreed to hold a state assembly session on August 14. CM reportedly made several attempts to convince the Governor for holding the session but his proposals were rejected each time with Kalraj Mishra asking him to give "strong reason" for calling the session. On this, CM Ashok Gehlot has claimed that Governor was being pressurized by BJP to delay the session so that the saffron party could have more time for horsetrading. In the following tweets, Gehlot warned BJP to drop its intention of topping the Rajasthan government and let the officials serve people in the rough phase of Coronavirus.
