Delhi Records 1,414 Fresh Covid-19 Cases In Last 24 Hrs, Positivity Rate Drops To 5.97%
During the last 24 hours, 23,694 tests have been done in Delhi and one patient has died.
New Delhi: Delhi recorded 1,414 Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, with a positivity rate of 5.97, according to data shared by the city health department.
While the positivity rate has seen a decline which was 6.42 percent on Monday. During the last 24 hours, 23,694 tests have been done in Delhi and one patient has died.
Active cases in Delhi have now increased to 5986. At the same time, there are 1211 Containment Zones in the capital of the country.
In Maharashtra, 182 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded on Tuesday and one patient died. 100 cases were registered in Mumbai. The official said that the total number of infected in the state has increased to 78,78,175 and the total number of dead has increased to 1,47,845. According to the health official, on Monday, there were a total of 92 cases of coronavirus infection and one patient died.

The official told that so far 77,29,303 people have become infection-free, which includes 170 people in the last 24 hours. At present, there are 1,027 patients under treatment in the state.
According to the data released by the state health department, there are currently no patients under treatment in Sangli, Jalgaon, Nandurbar, Latur, Osmanabad, Akola, Amravati, Yavatmal, Wardha, Bhandara Gondia districts.
According to the health bulletin, the death rate due to infection is 1.87 percent and the recovery rate is 98.11 percent. The department said that including 24,158 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, the total number of samples tested so far has gone up to 8,02,50,528.
