PM Modi To Address All BJP Mayors On Futuristic Cities
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the two-day National Mayors' Conference to be held online in Gujarat's capital Gandhinagar on Tuesday.
It is important that the growing urbanisation is viewed as an opportunity to work together towards building modern and futuristic cities, PM said in a tweet.
Modi said, "At 10:30 AM tomorrow, 20th September, will address a meeting of all the Mayors belonging to the BJP. With growing urbanisation, it is important that we view it as an opportunity and work together towards building modern, futuristic cities."
BJP Chief JP Nadda On Two-Day Visit To Gujarat From Sep 20
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat from Tuesday. During this, he will take part in many programs and will hold meetings with local leaders, the party's chief spokesperson Anil Baluni said on Monday.
BJP president will launch "NaMo Panchayat E-bike" programme in Gandhinagar and also attend a mayors' summit on Tuesday, Baluni said.
Parts Of Delhi Get Light Rain, More Expected
Parts of Delhi received light rainfall on Monday as the maximum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 33.7 degrees Celsius.
The Safdarjung Observatory, considered the official marker for the national capital, recorded a rainfall of 5.8 mm while Lodhi Road received 4.6 mm of rainfall.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.
Humidity levels oscillated between 95 per cent and 77 per cent.
The weatherman has forecast generally cloudy sky with the possibility of very light rain on Tuesday.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle at 33 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius.
Breaking News LIVE: Amit Shah Reviews Implementation Of Bru Agreement With Tripura Chief Minister
Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah reviewed the implementation of the Bru agreement with Chief Minister Tripura today in Delhi along with senior officers of central and state government. Significant achievement has been made in the resettlement of Bru people displaced from Mizoram in Tripura since the signing of the agreement in January 2020.
The Agreement provides a comprehensive package for each family being rehabilitated. The number of rehabilitated families in Tripura is 6,959 families with a total population of 37,136.
So far 3696 families have been resettled and the rest are in the process of resettlement. House construction completed for 2407 families so far besides those under construction.
Various certificates like PRTC, ST Certificates, and Aadhaar card inclusion of names in the Electoral Rolls are being issued for the resettled Bru families.

Breaking News LIVE: Rajasthan Govt To Give Rs 1,000 Monthly To People With 100% Disability
The Rajasthan government has decided to provide a monthly assistance of Rs 1,000 to people with 100 per cent disability in addition to the pension given to them. Currently, specially-abled people get a monthly pension of Rs 750 to 1,250 depending on their age. There are 21,717 pensioners with 100 per cent disability in the state at present, according to a statement.
