BJP's Parivartan Sankalp Yatra To Culminate With PM Modi's Rally In Jaipur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a public rally in Jaipur today, marking the culmination of a series of Parivartan Sankalp Yatras organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the poll-bound state of Rajastha. Union Minister of State Arjun Ram Meghwal informed on Sunday that the event, named the 'Parivartan Sankalp Mahasabha,' is expected to see a significant presence of women who wish to express their gratitude to Modi for the women's reservation bill, news agency PTI reported.

Meghwal elaborated on the preparations, mentioning the creation of 42 blocks at the rally venue, each to be overseen by a woman coordinator responsible for managing arrangements. He further revealed that Prime Minister Modi will arrive at the rally in an open jeep, as per PTI.

The final preparations for the event were supervised by Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, who is also BJP's election in-charge for Rajasthan. Joshi asserted the determination of the people to unseat the Congress party from power in the state, where elections are scheduled later this year. He remarked on the extensive support received by the Parivartan Sankalp Yatra, with substantial crowds attending the meetings. Joshi expressed confidence that people from across the state will congregate in Jaipur on Monday to attend Modi's rally.

Before addressing the public rally, Prime Minister Modi will pay tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on the occasion of his birth anniversary in Dhankya village.

Rahul Gandhi To Launch Rural Housing Scheme In Chhattisgarh

In anticipation of the upcoming Chhattisgarh assembly elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to launch the Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Nyay Yojna (MGANY) in Bilaspur district today. This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to homeless individuals and families living in kutcha houses in rural areas.

During the 'Awas Nyay Sammelan,' Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will distribute the first instalment of Rs 25,000 to 1,30,000 beneficiaries to facilitate the construction of houses, according to officials. The event will take place around noon in Parsada (Sakri) village, located within the Takhatpur development block in Bilaspur district.

Among the 1.30 lakh beneficiaries, a significant portion, comprising 1 lakh, is listed on the permanent wait list (PWL) under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY-rural) but has yet to receive the benefits of the Central scheme.

Additionally, the occasion will witness the transfer of Rs 5 crore to the accounts of 500 beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana (MNSASY), which was initiated in May this year. Under MNSASY, registered construction workers with the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board receive Rs 1 lakh in assistance for house construction.

Furthermore, Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel are set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development and construction projects worth Rs 524.33 crore in Bilaspur district. Additionally, they will distribute appointment letters to 2,594 recently recruited teachers.

The launch of MGANY and associated initiatives underscore the political preparations and development efforts in the run-up to the Chhattisgarh assembly elections scheduled later this year.
