Thirteen people have died and around 30 are missing after a landslide in Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur on Wednesday afternoon left several vehicles buried under debris.

A state-run bus, a truck and a few cars were trapped after the landslide blocked the Reckong Peo-Shimla highway. The bus, travelling to Shimla, reportedly had 40 people on board.

On Thursday, India's first Geo-Imaging Satellite (GISAT-1) renamed EOS-03 failed to launch as planned.

The Indian rocket Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-F10) experienced difficulties with its cryogenic engine, the third and last engine, around seven minutes after launch at 5.43 a.m.

The mission's failure is announced. “A technical issue was discovered in the cryogenic stage, and the mission could not be completed,” stated K.Sivan, Chairman of Chairman of Indian Space Research Organisation.
