June is celebrated as 'Pride Month' and although fashion isn't always the focus, there's nothing wrong with wearing 'Pride' clothes and shouting "love wins." This month-long celebration highlights the LGBTQ community's fight for their identity and dressing up is one of the many ways we can show our support. However, a common misconception is that 'Pride' means only wearing rainbow colours. Instead, it's about not adhering to the restrictions of gendered clothing categories and going beyond common style conventions that typically associate certain colours and shapes with one of the two binary genders. This year, let's celebrate this month by styling Indian clothes, incorporating some essence from our culture.
