New Delhi: It's time for Holi- the most colourful festival in India, and preparations are going on in full swing. It is being celebrated on March 7 in some parts of India, including Maharashtra, while for other states, it will be celebrated on March 8. The festival is held to mark the beginning of spring and the passing of winter, and the celebration of colours denotes the triumph of virtue over evil. People participate in the celebration with enthusiasm and paint each other in various colours.

From preparing the Holi playlist to cooking delectable delicacies like dahi vada and malpua, people across the nation are all set to welcome the summer season with joy. With Holi being celebrated in Maharashtra today, on February 7, Bollywood celebrities and television personalities are extending their heartfelt wishes on the occasion to their fans and well-wishers.

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, who recently tied-the-knot in Jaisalmer on February 6, wished everyone a Happy Holi by sharing adorable pictures from their Haldi ceremony. The Kapoor sisters Karisma and Kareena Kapoor also shared pictures of themselves all soaked in colours. While Karisma shared a series of her solo pictures looking all gorgeous in ethnic wear, Kareena shared a picture of herself with her adorable boys Taimur and Jeh Ali Khan.

Newly wed Shivaleeka Oberoi also shared a selfie featuring her director husband Abhishek Pathak as she celebrates her first Holi post her wedding.

Several television celebrities including 'Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein' actress Ayesha Singh, Jay Bhanushali, Shilpa Shinde and others also extended their wishes on Holi. 'Pavitra Rishta' fame actress Ankita Lokhande hostel a Holi party with husband Vicky Jain for their industry friends. The couple looked adorable as they twinned in matching yellow outfits.

Parents-to-be Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim also shared adorable pictures of themselves with Deepika cradling her baby bump as they wished on Holi.

Television actress Debina Bonnerjee, who welcomed her second daughter with husband Gurmeet Choudhary in November last year, celebarted her first holi with her little bundle of joy.
