'Beat Plastic Pollution': World Environment Day 2023 Messages To Draw Attention To Critical Issues

World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 each year to draw attention to environmental issues. This year's World Environment Day theme is 'Beat Plastic Pollution' to refocus attention on solutions to plastic pollution. Every year, over 400 million tons of plastic are produced worldwide – one-third of which is used just once, according to the United Nations. Every day, the equivalent of over 2000 garbage trucks full of plastic is dumped into our oceans, rivers, and lakes.

We can choose to raise awareness about the behemoth that plastic has become by sending some of these messages.
