He also went on to list some ways to detoxify your body with Ayurveda:
1. Eat a Balanced Diet: Ayurveda places a strong emphasis on diet for detoxification. Focus on whole, fresh, and seasonal foods. Favour organic and locally sourced ingredients. A diet that aligns with your dosha can help balance your body. Vata individuals should opt for warm, grounding foods like cooked grains, root vegetables, and nourishing soups. Pitta individuals benefit from cooling foods like cucumbers, leafy greens, and sweet fruits. Kapha individuals should choose lighter, spicy, and warm foods to stimulate digestion.
2. Practice Regular Fasting: Intermittent fasting or periodic fasting can be beneficial for detoxification. Fasting gives your digestive system a break and allows the body to focus on eliminating accumulated toxins. However, consult an Ayurvedic practitioner before starting a fasting regimen, as it should be tailored to your dosha.
3. Herbal Support: Ayurvedic herbs are commonly used for detoxification. Triphala, a combination of three fruits (amalaki, haritaki, and bibhitaki), is a powerful detoxifying agent that promotes healthy digestion and elimination. Other herbs like neem, turmeric, and guggul also support detoxification.

Talking about fasting, he said that it allows your body to redirect energy towards eliminating toxins instead of digesting heavy foods.
