Ambani Family Reportedly Hires Falcon-2000 Jets For Wedding, Mumbai Traffic Police Issues Advisory On Road Restrictions

Anant Radhika's wedding will take place on July 12 at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Centre (BKC), in Mumbai and the family has reportedly hired three Falcon-2000 jets to ferry guests.

Anant Ambani is all set to get hitched to Radhika Merchant on July 12 in Mumbai. For the lavish ceremony, the Ambani family has reportedly hired three Falcon-2000 jets to ferry guests to the wedding on Friday. Rajan Mehra, CEO of air charter company Club One Air, told news agency Reuters that the Ambanis have hired three of his company's Falcon-2000 jets to ferry wedding guests and he expects 100 plus private planes to be used for the events.

"The guests are coming from all over and each aircraft will make multiple trips across the country," Reuters quoted Rajan Mehra as saying.

Traffic Restrictions In Mumbai:

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding will take place at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Centre (BKC), located in Mumbai's central business district. Roads near the venue will be opened for "event vehicles" between 1 PM and midnight July 12-15. A detailed advisory on road restrictions for the three days has also been issued by the traffic police in Mumbai.

The venue is being decorated with flowers and lights resulting in slowing down of traffic in that area.

The main wedding ceremonies will start on Friday, 12th July with the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. Saturday, 13th July will be the day of Shubh Aashirwad or Divine Blessings. Sunday, 14th July, will be the Mangal Utsav or the Wedding Reception.

Wedding Decorations:

Decorations around the venue have already begun, with the area being decorated with lights and flowers. The Ambanis' 27-storey mansion, Antilia, is also being decorated with marigolds and bright yellow lights. 

Guests Who Are Invited:

The guest list comprises Bollywood actors, industry leaders, politicians, and international figures. Among those confirmed from the film industry are Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Shahid Kapoor, and others.

The list also includes other prominent names like the Thackeray family, Devendra Fadnavis, and Eknaath Shinde, among others, who have been invited to the event. International personalities invited by the Ambanis will arrive via private jets arranged by the families.

American reality star Kim Kardashian's makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, along with several other social media figures, have received wedding invitations. In addition, US TikToker and content creator Julia Chafe, along with Chris Appleton, a social media influencer and hairstylist for numerous Hollywood celebrities, are also expected to travel to India to attend the star-studded event on July 12.

Photographers and camera professionals are being specifically transported from Los Angeles to capture the memorable moments of the lavish wedding. 

The dress code for the event is formal Indian wear. The invitation also specifies that attendance is limited to guests aged 14 years and older.
