Safety, security of passengers is of utmost importance: GoAir

Leh (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Feb. 24 (ANI): After an error was detected in the engine of the airline soon after it was airborne, Budget airline GoAir on Saturday said that the safety and security of the passengers have always been the priority of the airlines, and they have never compromised with it at any circumstances.

The statement came after the Delhi- Leh-Jammu flight landed back to Leh earlier in the day after a technical glitch was detected in its engine as soon as it took off from here.

"At GoAir, the safety and security of passengers and crew is always accorded high priority and never compromised under any circumstance," read the statement of the airlines.

The flight returned to the Leh airport at around at 9:30 am.

The aircraft is being inspected and all the 112 passengers on board are safe. (ANI)
