COVID-19: Mansukh Mandaviya To Interact With Health Ministers Of 9 States & UTs On Tuesday
This comes as active cases in India climbed to 22,49,335, the highest in 241 days, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Monday.
New Delhi: Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will interact with health ministers of total nine North Indian states and union territories on Tuesday over the Coronavirus situation in the region.
The Union Health Minister will speak to Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Ladakh, Uttar Pradesh, and Chandigarh on Tuesday over the COVID situation, news agency ANI reported official sources as saying.

COVID Situation In India
This comes as active cases in India climbed to 22,49,335, the highest in 241 days, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Monday.
India logged 3,06,064 new coronavirus infections taking the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 3,95,43,328,
The death toll climbed to 4,89,848 with 439 fresh fatalities.
The active cases comprise 5.69 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate decreased to 93.07 per cent, the ministry stated.
An increase of 62,130 cases was recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours. The number of people who recovered from the infection surged to 3,68,04,145.
Last week, in a press briefing, the Union Health Ministry had mentioned about six states continuing to remain areas of concern due to an increase in the weekly positivity rate in the week ending January 20 as compared to the weekly positive rate logged in the week ending January 13.
The states included Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh.
The cumulative doses administered in the country so far under the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive have exceeded 162.26 crores.
