Why Ranbir Kapoor Is NOT Taking Paternity Leave Now

On November 6, after welcoming their baby girl, Alia and Ranbir released an official statement announcing the birth of their child.

New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have became parents to a baby girl on November 6, 2022. The couple got married in a fairytale wedding in April this year. Alia was discharged from the hospital recently and is home now. While, Ranbir Kapoor who was spotted holding his baby girl is now back to the grind. A couple of days ago, Ranbir was spotted outside a studio in Juhu and now it is being reported that the new parent will not be taking a long paternity break.

As per ETimes, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to return to film sets on November 17 to finish his pending work commitments. The 'Rockstar' fame actor will have to cut down on his family time and return to work to finish shooting for 'Animal' which is being helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

'Animal' also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor in key roles. But for Ranbir and Alia, it's a good thing that the film is being shot at a studio in Mumbai. As per Pinkvilla which quoted a source close to the actor, after Ranbir finished 'Animal', he will head for a long paternity break.

On November 6, after welcoming their baby girl, Alia and Ranbir released an official statement announcing the birth of their child. Sharing pictures of a lion, lioness and a cub, their note said, "And in the best news of our lives:- Our baby is here..and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love -blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!!! love love love Alia and Ranbir.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were recently seen in 'Brahmastra'. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film proved to be a major hit at the box office. Now, Ranbir has Luv Ranjan's next with Shraddha Kapoor and 'Animal' with Rashmika Mandanna. 

On the other hand, Alia will begin shooting for 'Jee Le Zaraa' with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif after her maternity leave.
