Alia Was Asked Yet Another Question About Pregnancy. Here's What She Said

When Alia Bhatt was asked about the stress of being pregnant while promoting a film, Alia said, "Agar aap fit ho, healthy ho, fine ho toh koi rest lene ki zarurat hai hi nahi.

New Delhi: Alia Bhatt has been creating headlines since she started promoting her upcoming film 'Darlings'. In yet another promotional event, Alia shared that if you are fit and healthy during pregnancy, there is no need to take rest. When Alia Bhatt was asked about the stress of being pregnant while promoting a film, Alia said, "Agar aap fit ho, healthy ho, fine ho toh koi rest lene ki zarurat hai hi nahi. Kaam karna mujhe sukoon deta hai, meri passion hai (If you’re fit and healthy, you don’t need to rest during pregnancy. Work gives me peace, acting is my passion)”.

“It keeps my heart, my soul everything alive and charged. Toh main toh matlab 100 saal ki umar tak kaam karungi,"( I will work till I am 100 years old) Alia added.

Alia has also produced 'Darlings' besides having acted in it. 'Darlings' also happens to be Alia's first production venture under her production banner Eternal Sunshine Productions.

"It's not that my acting process needs to change because I am the producer. The real producer in me woke up much later. I was always an actor. I've felt protective about my films before, now I feel even more protective towards 'Darlings'," Alia was quoted by EconomicTimes.

"In my opinion, what's really beautiful is their relationship, how honest and rare this type of dynamic is. Mother is suggesting some odd things, sometimes the daughter is mothering the mother. It's sort of vice versa," Alia also threw some light on the mother-daughter relationship plot of the film.

Besides Alia, 'Darlings' stars Vijay Varma and Shefali Shah in key roles. The film has been directed by Jasmeet K. Reen who is also making her directorial debut with the film.

'Darlings' is relasing on Friday on Netflix.
