Vivaan Shah Pens A Note For Parents Naseeruddin Shah & Ratna Pathak On Their 41st Wedding Anniversary
On Saturday, their son Vivaan Shah shared a heartfelt note for his parents besides sharing a sepia-tinted picture of the two.
New Delhi: It is Nasseruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah's 41st wedding anniversary. The two theatre artists who turned actors and created some iconic roles in their filmography are an iconic actors' pair from Bollywood. On Saturday, their son Vivaan Shah shared a heartfelt note for his parents besides sharing a sepia-tinted picture of the two.
Taking to his official Instagram handle, he wrote, "Happyyy Anniversary Ma and Baba ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Today is their 41st Anniversary 😊 We had a major celebration last year at their 40th, and their 25th Anniversary celebrations in Goa is one of the happiest memories of my entire life."
"Can’t describe in words what they mean to me and how much I love them! Everything I do is for them, as corny and sappy as that sounds. They are my muse, my best friends, my artistic soul mates and fellow travellers and my greatest inspiration and source of humanity and wisdom. I turn to them whenever I seek answers from God."
His post hit an even more emotional tone when it added, "At times of utter spiritual desolation and pain and confusion in my life, I have heard their voice speak to me in my soul and in the deep recesses of my heart and that has given me strength and soothed me and also given me meaning and answers. They are my voice of reason and the ray of light that illuminates my soul."

Ratna Pathak Shah and Nasseruddin Shah married in 1982 after being in a relationship for many years. Shah was earlier married to Manara Sikri with whom he has a daughter Heeba. Manara died the same year Nasseruddin Shah got married a second time.
Meanwhile, Vivaan Shah recently published his book titled 'The Forsaken Wilderness'.
