New Delhi: Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has managed to keep the viewers hooked on to the television sets with its drama-packed episodes. The show starring Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi in the respective roles of Kartik and Naira has recently completed 2900 episodes. The makers of YRKKH are currently following the track from Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Abhimaan’. Naira and Kartik are facing issues in their relationship ever since the former turned successful as an entrepreneur. The channel has released a new promo in which Kartik can be accusing Naira of spending a night with Mihir Kapoor (Khushwant Walia). Fans of the show are little upset as Kartik has always supported Naira and his sudden change of behaviour has shocked them.

As per the latest buzz, the makers of ‘Yeh Rishta’ are all set to introduce Mihir Kapoor’s girlfriend in the show. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that actress Minal Mogam would enter ‘YRKKH’ as Mihir’s girlfriend who will be a lawyer by profession. The actress, who was last seen in Meera Deosthale and Vijayendra Kumeria starrer ‘Udaan’, will play the role of Mitali in ‘Yeh Rishta’.

“Though she will be in love with Mihir, she will feel that there is a lot going on between Mihir and Naira (Shivangi Joshi),” a source tolf IWMBuzz. Mitali’s entry will complicate things for Kartik and Naira, the report added.

Speculations are also rife that makers are planning to take a five-year leap in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’.
