Yeh Hai Chahatein: Siddharth Shivpuri To Play Negative Lead; Replaces Zebby Singh In 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' Spin-Off!

Last seen in Parth Samthaan-Erica Fernandes' 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' actor Siddharth Shivpuri to play the negative lead in Sargun Kaur Luthra-Abrar Qazi's 'Yeh Hai Chahatein'!

Ekta Kapoor's Star Plus show 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', featuring Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Karan Patel in lead roles, is all set to bid goodbye to the viewers next month after a long run of six years. While fans are going to miss seeing their favourite couple 'IshRa' onscreen, 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' will be replaced by its spin-off titled 'Yeh Hai Chahatein' featuring 'Tantra' fame Sargun Kaur Luthra and 'Gathbandhan' actor Abrar Qazi in lead roles. The makers recently released the first promo of 'Yeh Hai Chahatein' which has created a good buzz around the show.

As we bid adieu to the very successful predecessor Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, it’s time to welcome Ishima’s niece in Yeh Hai Chahatein. We have seen lots of stories till now, but this one is going to be even more special. When I started Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, I remember going to Gaurav Banerjee from Star Plus and asking him for a non prime time slot because I wanted to do a show on a social issue. I had stopped doing much television and I wanted to make YHM without the trappings of a TRP driven show. A show about a woman who cannot have children , a stepmother who according to Indian terms is considered bad ! Words in india like barren n evil stepmother got used so often and labelled women in d worst poss way. This show got so much love that it went on for six years. And from a non prime time slot to a prime time slot. Yeh Hai Chahatein deals with another social issue. It’s said often that it’s easier for men with children to get married again, but very tough for a woman with a child to find a suitable groom. Let’s see if ishita’s niece will be able to be an outstanding mother and still live out an unbelievable love story . starplus... Ekta Kapoor Bids Adieu To 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' With HEARTFELT Note; Shares 'Yeh Hai Chahatein' Promo Apart from Sargun & Abrar, Aishwarya Sakhuja is expected to play the main vamp in the show whereas rumours suggested that actor Zebby Singh has also been finalised as the negative lead of 'Yeh Hai Chahatein'. TV actor Siddharth Shivpuri, who was last seen playing the role of 'Vikrant' in Parth Samthaan-Erica Fernandes starrer 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', will now be a part of 'Yeh Hai Chahatein' instead of Zebby. 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' Star Karan Patel Confirms Wife Ankita's Pregnancy; Calls It Biggest B'day Gift! Speaking about the same, a source told IWMBuzz that, "Siddharth Shivpuri will play the negative lead on the show." On a related note, 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' is expected to end on 18th December and its spin-off titled 'Yeh Hai Chahatein' will replace it from December 19.
