To commemorate Women's Day, TV actors Aarti Singh, Swati Singh, Aparna Dixit and Shaily Priya shared their views highlighting the importance of women empowerment.

New Delhi: Every year March 8 is celebrated as International Women's Day across the world. To commemorate the same, Shemaroo Umang and TV actors Aarti Singh, Swati Singh, Aparna Dixit and Shaily Priya shared their views highlighting the importance of women empowerment.

Arti Singh from ‘Shravani’- "On this Women's Day, I stand in awe of the remarkable strength and resilience that defines each and every woman. Today, we celebrate the incredible journey of womanhood, where we navigate through challenges with grace and determination. From balancing personal life to excelling in our professional endeavors, we showcase our boundless capabilities every single day. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the phenomenal women on the set of Shemaroo Umang's Shravani show. Together, we exemplify the power of unity, talent, and unwavering spirit. Happy Women's Day!"

Swati Sharma who plays the character of Aashi in ‘Chaahenge Tumhe Itnaa’ says, “Every day, I find inspiration in the women who surround me, guiding and uplifting me. I firmly believe that appreciation shouldn't be confined to specific 'Days,' but rather, it should be a daily practice. My mother and my best friend have been my unwavering support system, shaping my journey with their love and encouragement. In any field, be it entertainment or otherwise, success should be based on merit and hard work, regardless of gender. It's heartening to see more opportunities opening up for women in our industry, and I'm grateful to be part of Shemaroo Umang's ' Chaahenge Tumhe Itnaa,' a narrative that celebrates strong women like Aashi. Let's continue working towards a future that's inclusive and equitable for all."

Shaily Priya aka Shraddha from ‘Kismat Ki Lakiro Se’ says, - "Women’s Day holds a special place for me as we honour the incredible women who surround us. Personally, I mark this day by taking a moment to express my gratitude to the women in my life, especially my mother, who has been a rock for our family. It's essential for women to recognize their own worth and pursue their dreams without limitations. Today, we see women making strides in various fields, from entrepreneurship to leadership. The empowerment of women is a global movement, with women breaking barriers and excelling in every sector. Even in the entertainment industry, women are taking on versatile roles and juggling multiple responsibilities with grace. Speaking about my character Shraddha in Kismat Ki Lakiro Se, I've seen her evolve and grow stronger with each experience. It reflects the journey of many women who discover their true power and potential in life."

Aparna Dixit from Shemaroo TV’s ‘Karmadhikari Shanidev’ says, "As we celebrate Women's Day, it's a profound reminder of the timeless strength and significance of women throughout history. From the revered goddesses of mythology to the unsung heroines of everyday life, women have shaped the world with their resilience, compassion, and unwavering spirit. It's an honour to portray a character like Damini, in Shemaroo Tv's Karmadhikari Shanidev who embodies the indomitable essence of womanhood. Let us continue to cherish and uplift the women in our lives, recognizing their invaluable contributions to society and humanity as a whole."
