Shark Tank Season 2: Namita Thapar Walks Out Telling Anupam Mitta To Keep His ‘Ego In Check’ In New Promo
While Vineeta and Anupam were the first to give an offer of Rs. 65 lakh for 4% equity, Aman was slightly miffed that she didn't want to team up with him.
New Delhi: Shark Tank India Season 2 has seen quite an interesting start this week. Earlier, we saw two sharks Peyush Bansal and Anupam Mittal fight over a pitch involving the company Atypical Advantage. And, now in the latest promo of the show, we see Peyush and Anupam at loggerheads once again. In the promo, we see all the sharks trying to take a bite out of home furnishing brand Nestroots and the five sharks battle to invest in it.
In the new promo shared by Sony Entertainment Television on its YouTube page, the owner of Nestroots pitches her home furnishing brand to the sharks. She is heard saying, "Nestroots is a brand which is Indian in origin. We give kitchen, dining, decor, furnishing solutions. We are proud to say that Nestroots is already in more than 1 lakh Indian homes."
When she was asked if the brand was profitable, the entrepreneur said her net profitability is between 16-19%, which impressed all the sharks.
While Vineeta and Anupam were the first to give an offer of Rs. 65 lakh for 4% equity, Aman was slightly miffed that she didn't want to team up with him."Kabhi toh kisi aur ko leliya karo yaar (Ask someone else too sometimes),” he said. Then Anupam said to Aman, “Tum value nahi add karte ho yaar sirf herogiri karte ho (you only act smart, add no value).” Aman responds, “Hero will stay a hero and villain will stay a villain.”
Aman then offered ₹65 lakh for 5% and told Vineeta to choose if she wanted to join him. However, Peyush changed the game when he offered ₹65 lakh for just 1%. In the promo, then we see Namita starting to speak stating that she disagrees with it, when Anupam said, "It doesn't matter what you think yaar.”
Namita is seen walking away from her chair. “Not okay, you need to keep your ego in check," she is heard saying.
Shark Tank India is based on the same concept the Shark Tank USA is based. The season launched its first season in December 2021.
