ABP News has also learned that Ashiesh Roy’s married sister Konica, who lives in Kolkata, also helped him by giving Rs 2 lakh. The ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ actor, who lives alone in Mumbai, wants to sell his flat in Andheri and shift with his sister in Kolkata due to lack of work and money constraints.

ABP News has received exclusive information that prominent celebs came forward to help Ashiesh during the tough times. “The likes of Anurag Kashyap, Hansal Mehta, Bejoy Nambiar, ‘CID’ producer BP Singh, model-actor Sushil Parasha and actress Divya Jyoti Sharma have deposited money into Ashiesh Roy’s bank account,” a reliable industry source told us. Common people have also helped the veteran actor.

Bollywood, TV and theatre actor Ashiesh Roy was undergoing dialysis at Criticare hospital in Mumbai since the past one week. He required Rs 4 lakh for his medical treatment. Ashiesh, while exclusively talking to ABP News, opened up about his sickness, his treatment getting affected due to lack of funds. After hearing his story, industry people came forward to help the talented actor. Ashiesh Roy has now been discharged from the hospital after getting treated.
