New Delhi: Zee TV’s popular show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ has been entertaining the viewers with its drama-packed episodes. The show starring Shabir Ahluwalia & Sriti Jha in the respective roles of Abhi and Pragya has completed over 1000 episodes and is still going strong. The makers of the show are all set to take a generation leap to spice up things. Gossip mills have been buzzing with the rumours that Priyank Sharma would play the role of Abhi and Pragya’s son post the leap.

It was said that the Bigg Boss 11 contestant has been roped in to play the role of Sriti and Shabir’s on-screen son in the show. We contacted Priyank to know the truth behind the rumours. The former Splistvilla contestant confirmed that he was approached for the show but he won’t be a part of ‘Kumkum Bhagya’. ‘’I was approached for the show but I am not doing it. There are other things I am working on. I had a word with the Balaji team but I am not doing the show,’’ Priyank exclusively told Filmymonkey. Talking about Priyank, the handsome actor shot to fame after participating in Bigg Boss 11. He made his acting debut with an episodic of ‘Laal Ishq’. The former MTV Roadies contestant was recently seen in ALT Balaji’s web series ‘Puncch Beat’. Watch this space for more updates!
