Kasautii Zindagii Kay’s Prerna Aka Erica Fernandes Shoots From Home Over Video Calls After 4 Members Test Positive For COVID-19!

Erica Fernandes, who plays the role of Prerna Sharma has been shooting for new episodes from her home.

A couple of days back, actor Parth Samthaan who plays the lead role of Anurag Basu in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 informed everyone that he has tested positive for Covid-19.

And now it is being reported that the show’s leading lady, Erica Fernandes, who plays the role of Prerna Sharma has been shooting for new episodes from her home. The actress decided to shoot from home after her co-star Parth and three of staff members from set tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. Erica has tested negative still she decided to be in quarantine for some days. Recently, she opened up about her experience of shooting from home.

While talking to Mumbai Mirror, Erica revealed that she is on a regular 12-hour shift, and is coordinating with her team through video calls. She said that her director, DoP, and a member from the creative team are always connected on a call with her. The screen acts as their monitor, while she receives cues and instructions through the call. She also added that all the discussions also happen via call. When asked how long she will continue shooting from home, she mentioned being unsure about it. Also talking about updates on Parth’s health she said, “We’ve been checking on him constantly. He got tested again recently and this time he was negative. He is recuperating well.”
